SINGAPORE – Pacific World announced that Selina Chavry, global managing director of Pacific World, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE). Selina will bring her experience as a thought leader in the business events industry to advocate for the use of incentives as a motivator for driving business growth and performance.
“I am honored to have been selected to the SITE Board of Trustees,” said Selina Chavry. “Our industry is in an exciting period of growth and innovation, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with other leaders to give our industry a voice. Changing audiences, changing expectations, evolving technology, and new business models – these are a few of the things impacting our industry today. I am impressed with the work SITE is doing to educate and share knowledge within the industry, especially in how to continue to drive engagement in this environment. I am looking forward to bringing a global perspective and being able to contribute to their work.”
“I am excited to have Selina Chavry join us on the Site Foundation Board of Trustees. Her industry expertise and personal experiences will bring the voice of her region to the Foundation that we have been missing for a few years. We recognize her leadership throughout our industry and are honored she will be sharing it with us,” said Rhea Stagner, SITE Foundation President and DVP Sourcing & Supplier Relations, Maritz Travel – a Maritz Global Events Company.
Selina will join SITE’s Research Committee to help collect meaningful worldwide data to assist in strengthening the organization’s efforts to advocate in the industry for incentives and events.
Selina joined Pacific World in 2012, and was promoted to global managing director in 2015. Previously, she was the regional director for Pacific World in Singapore and Malaysia, focusing on event operations, international sales and marketing.
